Description

This Songbird Warbler hammered dulcimer is in like-new condition. It is a chromatic dulcimer and has never traveled, and has been owned less than six months. I am selling it to help fund my daughter’s education. It has has a cherry top and bottom and maple sides and construction. The tone is bright with moderate sustain.

It comes as a full kit with both a stand up and a sit down stand, two sets of two sided hammers (light for soft play and heavy for firm play), tuning wrench and a burgundy case.

Please note the image is from the website. I will change the image to that of the dulcimer I have for sale shortly, as well as the accessories, soon as I can get home from work and the light is good for shooting photos.

The website URL link is for the tuning diagram.

Below is the description from the Songbird website:

The Warbler has been our premier dulcimer for many years, and has been through many revisions. They have a great full sound, and are fully chromatic within the standard 3 octave range. They also have an extended range down. The left bridge fills out the lower octave of the keys of G and A. There’s also a low C. Please see the tuning diagram for this dulcimer.

Also, please note I am in Nova Scotia, but the site only takes US states in the listing, and it was the closest state. Payment can be made in US or Canadian dollars.

I could not find the Tuning Diagram you speak of in your ad, is this Dulcimer still for sale? Where do I find the Tuning Diagram?

  3. I don't know if you're the person who is looking for the hammered dulcimer.  That advertisement is a couple of years old so I don't know if the person who listed the instrument still has it.  Did you reply to the ad by clicking on the “contact tab” over the map?  That's how you can send a message to the sender.  You can find out if the instrument was sold.  The diagram mentioned in the ad is probably on the Chris Foss (who is the builder)'s web site at songbird.comGood luck.  Chris builds very nice instruments.Sharon SkarydOwner of the classified site
